Farewell to director Paolo Taviani, who died in Rome at the age of 92, after a short illness.

His wife Lina Nerli and his children Ermanno and Valentina were with him until the end.

The secular funeral ceremony is scheduled for Monday 4 March at the Protomoteca del Campidoglio from 10am to 1pm. Paolo, together with his brother Vittorio, who died in 2018, formed an indissoluble couple of Italian cinema. Tuscan brothers, born in San Miniato, who faced the seventh art with rigor and civil commitment.
