American actress Kimberly Hébert Gregory, star of “Vice Principals” and “Grey's Anatomy,” dies at 52.
The news of her death – the cause of which has not been disclosed – was confirmed by her ex-husband, actor Chester Gregory, in a post on Instagram.
"You were brilliance incarnate, a Black woman whose mind lit up every room," she writes. "You taught us lessons in courage. You were much more than an ex-wife, you were my friend. Our son, the song we wrote together, is the living echo of your light ."
The Texan actress, who made her TV debut in 2007 in the series “The Black Donnellys,” also appeared in the film “The Infidelity Handbook for Married Men” with Chris Rock and had worked on highly successful series such as “The Big Bang Theory,” “New Amsterdam,” “Shameless,” “Gossip Girl,” “Two and a Half Men” and “Better Call Saul.”
