Farewell to Bruno Arena , the comedian and stand-up comedian who with Max Cavallari had founded the duo Fichi d'India.

His son Gianluca on Instagram gave the announcement of the disappearance: "I wasn't ready, but I never would have been. Have a good trip dad ... you leave an immense void".
Arena was 65 years old: in 2013 he had been hit by a cerebral aneurysm, after the recording of an episode of Zelig . He had been operated on urgently and saved, but his condition had remained heavily compromised, so much so that he had been forced to leave the scene.

Born in Milan in 1957, former physical education teacher, he had made his debut in the entertainment world at the age of 26 as a tourist entertainer.

In 1984 he was the victim of a serious car accident , which resulted in partial loss of vision in one eye. From that moment his face took on that particular aspect that Arena made part of its comedy.

The partnership with Cavallari began in 1988 with the foundation of the Fichi d'India. A name chosen to pay homage to the trees that surrounded the beaches of Palinuro, in the Salerno area, the place where they chose to "get together".

In addition to the great success in Zelig , they participated in several films including " Pinocchio" by Roberto Benigni in 2002, in which they were the Cat and the Fox, "Natale sul Nilo" by Neri Parenti in the same year, "Le jokes" by Carlo Vanzina in 2004 and Claudio Risi's “Marriage in the Bahamas” in 2007.
