Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 March the FAI Spring Days are back, an important event dedicated to the cultural and landscape heritage of our country.

The initiative, organized by the FAI - Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano, is once again involving in the discovery of the beauties of the island, thanks to the opening of 10 places throughout the region, some of which are little known or accessible only exceptionally. opened by the volunteers of the delegations and FAI groups of Sardinia.

In Sardinia there are many and heterogeneous types of places represented: from parks to great works of civil, military and industrial architecture, to ancient villages, to extraordinary Romanesque churches, to archaeological sites in our territory, to villas and period buildings.

The event is organized with the support of the Civil Protection, Arma dei Carabinieri and the Italian Red Cross, which have been supporting the FAI for years in this initiative.

Here is the list of open structures: in Assemini the park of Villa Asquer and the Saline Conti Vecchi, in Fordongianus the Romanesque church of San Lussorio and the amphitheater, in Nuoro the archaeological museum Asproni, in Lanusei the former Salesian institute S. Eusebio and the cathedral of Santa Maria Maddalena, in Borutta the monastic complex of San Pietro di Sorres, in Tempio Pausania the cathedral of the diocese of Tempio Ampurias, in Olbia the park of Villa Tamponi, Palazzo Colonna and Villa Clorinda, in La Maddalena the quarry of Cala Francese, Punta Don Diego, the Talmone Military Battery in Palau.
