“ The Zes, special economic zone, becomes operational . With yesterday's communication signed by the extraordinary commissioner Aldo Cadau , the Region is launching one of the most important measures to support the Sardinian production system, fully operational since yesterday ”.

The Sardinia Region announces it in a note.

"Today Sardinia reaches a very important milestone - explains the governor Christian Solinas - together with all the other tools put in place by the Region to stem the crisis and support the recovery, today we can really plan the relaunch of the Sardinian economy with a confident look at the future , ensuring the Sardinian production system that facilitated taxation expected for decades that can be the real engine of the economic recovery of our island "

The areas identified, as specified by Commissioner Aldo Cadau, will in fact be able to seize the growth opportunities inherent in the SEZ tool, taking advantage of the benefits induced by the development policy (tax credit, ZES single digital counter, simplification of the SEZ governance system aimed at favor the construction of the interventions in a short time as well as the establishment of new companies) and combining the economic increase with the social and urban growth of the areas involved.

Following the comparison and consultation process with the various stakeholders and the analysis of the territorial checks, the list of the municipalities concerned was completed, therefore the specific identification of all cadastral data divided by Industrial Consortium.

The result of the analysis confirmed the territorial choices, with a view to equilibrium, urban planning, economic-functional connection and in compliance with a logic of spatial as well as functional economic continuity.
