Davide Nicola's experience on the Cagliari bench is coming to an end. The rumor leaks out from Tuesday afternoon's meeting in Milan with president Tommaso Giulini. The parties also addressed financial aspects related to the separation (the coach's contract has not expired). And the names of possible successors are starting to circulate. The most popular is Fabio Pisacane, former rossoblù and coach of the Primavera. But the Ivan Juric hypothesis is also gaining traction.

Nicola arrived in Cagliari eleven months ago, with the official announcement on July 5, 2024 following the termination of his contract with Empoli.
