The Sardinian Fabio Pietrella , resident in Parma, but born in Carbonia and lived for many years in Bonorva , where he often returns and still has a house, was elected in the Lombardy 1 proportional college, in the Brothers of Italy lists. Successful textile entrepreneur (commuting between Parma and Milan), 45, national president of Confartigianato Moda, was strongly supported in Parliament by Giorgia Meloni.

"Politically, a love at first sight between you and me in Milan two years ago , during an initiative of Confartigianato. Daniela Santanchè introduced her to me", explains the new Honorable Pietrella.

Which has a very interesting history. His maternal grandfather (and family) moved to Carbonia, Sardinia, after the war, to follow in the footsteps of his brother Stefano Perati, the legendary Brescia coach of the great Carbosarda, who he drove from 1946 to 1958, before moving on to the Cagliari benches, Tharros and Torres, with whom he closed his career in 1976. A year later, in 1977, Fabio Petrella was born, who had to move from Carbonia to Bonorva, the seat of his mother Mariella's first professorship and where his father, head teacher, was dean of the local high school.

" Bonorva is always in my heart - he explains -. I have many friends and I go back as soon as I can. My mother, on the other hand, every year. A bond, that of my family with Sardinia, is indissoluble". Fabio Pietrella after the classical diploma obtained in Bonorva flew to Parma, where he graduated in business administration. Then his brilliant activity as a textile entrepreneur, the positions in Confartigianato and now the election to Parliament.

"A burdensome but at the same time tempting commitment - underlines Pietrella -. I will certainly not forget Sardinia and I will try to coordinate with my elected Sardinian colleagues . We all know the problems: lack of infrastructures, transport and territorial continuity. I will also try to help companies, which still suffer too much from insularity. In my sector, for example, that of fashion, there are very interesting activities that could take off at a national and international level. It is necessary - he concludes - that they have all the tools to compete on an equal footing with the others of the continent ".
