Sassari and Olbia-Tempio in the top ten of the price increases for food and non-alcoholic drinks. Sassari is even the fourth city in Italy that recorded the greatest increases : +569 euros with an increase of 12.4 percent. Olbia-Tempio is ninth at the national level with + 11.4%.

But even Cagliari is not smiling : it is thirty-fourth in the ranking , but has to deal with a 10.1% growth in expenses .

These are the data that emerge from the ranking of the National Consumers Union of the cities with the highest annual price increases.

Among other things, it should be noted that the amounts in euros refer to an average family. The situation for the larger nuclei is much worse.

For Italy it goes from the average of 564 euros, to 769 euros for a couple with 2 children, 919 euros for couples with 3 or more children. A similar progression also applies to individual cities.

For electricity , gas and other fuels, an item that includes gas, electricity (protected and free market), heating oil and solid fuels, in Italy the increase in July was 59.2% . In Sardinia Olbia Tempio, in 25th place, exceeds the national average reaching 61.9 per cent. Cagliari, fiftieth, stops at 56.4%. While Sassari recorded an increase of 54.7 percent.

In general, at the national level there is an increase in the family price equal to an average of 798 euros on an annual basis, in some cities it has even doubled compared to last year.
