European Heritage Days, many extraordinary openings in Sardinia

Culture, history and also solidarity on Saturday and Sunday on the island for the European Heritage Days 2023, entitled this year "Heritage InVita". Half of the cost of the ticket for entry to places of culture, i.e. one euro, will be used to deal with the emergency in the areas affected by the floods.
There are over 80 projects which will see as protagonists Museums, Municipalities, Archives, Libraries, Foundations, Cultural Associations and Cooperatives who have joined with enthusiasm and active participation in the event coordinated by the Sardinia Regional Museums Directorate.
It starts from the evening opening on Saturday from 5pm to 8pm and Sunday (10am-2pm and 3-7pm) of the Basilica of San Saturnino in Cagliari .
Also open for the Asproni National Archaeological Museum of Nuoro , both Saturday evening and Sunday morning and evening.
The journey continues at the Sanna Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum in Sassari , which promotes the traveling exhibition “The shape of gold. Jewelry stories from ancient Italy" . Also in Sassari but in the National Art Gallery on Saturday morning at 11 am the "Stories of fabrics" told through the paintings of Sardinian artists and the puppets of Tavolara. In the evening at 7pm the meeting entitled "The living heritage of the Gremi: 10 years of UNESCO recognition for the Candelieri".
The Antiquarium Turritano National Archaeological Museum of Porto Torres can also be visited on Saturday evening.
Finally, the island of Caprera offers the Garibaldi Museums, the Garibaldi Compendium and the Giuseppe Garibaldi Memorial.
