A sensational turning point for the organization of the 2032 European Championships . Through an official note, the FIGC announced Italy's candidacy as host country, but alongside Turkey . The two countries would join efforts, as has already happened among other nations in the past and as will also happen for the next World Cup, with the synergy between the USA, Mexico and Canada.

The implication, however, does not smile at Sardinia . In fact, the ten stadiums that will host the matches will no longer be exclusively Italian (Milan, Turin, Verona, Genoa, Bologna, Florence, Rome, Naples, Bari and Cagliari were planned), but will be equally divided between the two countries: five to Italy, five to Turkey.

This inevitably means that Cagliari will not be among the chosen venues , considering that those with greater capacity will be privileged. The five will probably include the Meazza of Milan, the Allianz Stadium of Turin, the Olimpico of Rome, the Maradona of Naples and, perhaps, one between the Ferraris of Genoa and the San Nicola of Bari.
