A question to Mimit and an appeal to the Government by the Democratic Party because the numbers on Eurallumina don't add up.

«The meeting on 14 December at the Ministry with the company and the unions, while confirming the CIG for workers, postponed the appointment with the solutions to the end of January which, however, do not appear certain on the horizon », say the Sardinian parliamentarians of the Democratic Party Silvio Lai , first signatory of the question in the Chamber, and Marco Meloni in the Senate.

«As regards the CIG - we read in a note - to date the provision for the distribution of resources between the regions and the decree of the Ministry of Labor to avoid delays in disbursement to workers have not yet been issued, as regards the block of the company's shares, the Financial Security Committee (CSF) has not yet revised its decision despite the sale of 21.37% of the ownership shares carried out in October, and on the gas side, there is no news from the ministry reporting a solution to the problems."

«Eurallumina - the dems continue in the question also signed by Andrea Casu and Stefano Vaccari - without the revocation of the provision and without new methods of energy supply , cannot proceed with the project to restart the plant and with the related investment of 300 million euro, in a condition of uncertainty about the company's future which even causes difficulties in finding companies for the drafting of the plant's operational projects as well as causing continuous requests for explanations from suppliers on the current position of the Company".

«For this - the Democrats write - we need a concerted effort on the part of the Government and Minister Urso, we cannot arrive at the next appointment in the dark : we need concrete answers on the CIG and on gas and the CSF needs to make a decision on blocking of actions that make company operations limited to ordinary administration. Eurallumina is not just any company and above all Sulcis is not just any territory , which should not be paid special attention and our appeal to the Government is for rapid and concrete action, we cannot wait any longer without certainties".
