Morning of strong emotions in the Benedetto Piras room of the Sardinia Regional Committee, where the FIGC remembered Professor Enzo Molinas one year after his death on Wednesday 1 February 2023 at the age of 84.

A giant of Sardinian sport, a pioneer of athletic training and a person who left a lot in everyone he dealt with, including the thousands of girls and boys he trained. Not only football (with Cagliari first and foremost), but also basketball (Esperia, Brill and Vis Nova) and athletics, plus among the other numerous and illustrious activities that of the Gigi Riva football school, of which he was the founder in 1976 with the Myth and the accountant Cenzo Soro, then following her together with Ermanno Cortis.

Remembering him today, in the presence of his daughter Luisa, are numerous people who shared many moments of their lives with Molinas, both sporting and beyond.

To pay homage to Professor Molinas, who a few months before his death was given a commemorative plaque in the Municipality for his splendid career, the Regional Committee is already moving: « At the next Board of Directors I will propose the establishment of the first Enzo Molinas Trophy, reserved to the youth categories that were his world and his true passion .
