Energy bonus, discounts for 300 thousand Sardinians are on the way
The Guarantor Authority is ready to extend the subsidies on electricity and gas bills to those who have an Isee income of up to 15 thousand euros
The social bonus on electricity and gas bills in 2023 is ready to change its face in Sardinia as well.
In fact, expensive energy is also biting on the island and a strengthened version of the subsidy in favor of the most numerous and needy families is coming to the aid of the Sardinians, which will widen the audience of beneficiaries to the point of involving at least 300 thousand families in Sardinia, increasingly in difficulty due to of inflation.
However, the discounts on monthly bills will not be fixed and will vary according to the number of members of the household, the average consumption of electricity and gas and the climatic range of the areas of residence.
CRITERIA – The good news is that users will have to make the minimum effort and limit themselves to forwarding a request to INPS. It will then be the social security institution to automatically indicate the nuclei that have the necessary criteria to access the social bonus bills. The next step will be the transmission of user data to the entities that distribute gas and electricity, which in turn will apply the discount directly to the bill.
The announcement of the new shot in the arm came a few days after the official announcement by Arera, the energy guarantor, of the increase in domestic gas tariffs of over 13%. An almost surprising rise in prices after the report on national gas consumption which saw our country in sharp decline compared to last year.
