The revitalized Dinamo Women opened with a win in Thessaloniki. A 72-56 victory for the Sassari-based team took place at Panathlitikos Sykeon. This means that a loss of no more than 15 points will be enough to advance to the Women's Eurocup group stage on Wednesday at PalaSerradimigni.

Dinamo Women, coached by Citrini and featuring Carangelo, Boros, Treffers, Richards, and Pondexter, put in a truly impressive performance. The balance lasted only one quarter, but in the second quarter, good defense and the agility of the forwards and big men allowed them to pick up the pace, leading by an 11-point lead at halftime.

In the third quarter, the gap even increased to +19. The coach rotated nine players.

Treffers led the way with 18 points. Richards had a double-double: 10 points and 10 rebounds. Carangelo had 11 points and 8 assists.
