750 thousand euros coming from the Sardinia Region for the redevelopment of the archaeological sites in the area and their extraordinary maintenance.

The interventions, foreseen by the Councilor for Culture, Andrea Biancareddu , will be in favor of the local authorities who have requested it.

«Several requests for funding have arrived - said Biancareddu - from the municipalities who want to have their Domus de Janas recognized by Unesco , and a note from CESIM (Identity and Memory Study Center), which highlighted the need and the urgency to carry out conservation and enhancement interventions in some of the sites".

«It is essential to protect and enhance the great archaeological and artistic heritage present in our Municipalities – says the president of the Region Christian Solinas -. A wealth that can also represent an important vehicle for tourism promotion for the benefit of the territories. We want to continue with the interventions to protect and enhance the cultural heritage ».

The resources relating to the 2021 year, since they were not committed, were re-registered in the 2022 year. Based on the requests, loans were attributed to the Municipalities of Benetutti, Illorai and Nughedu Santa Vittoria .

to the first,   for the conservation and enhancement of the Domus "il Labirinto" , 215 thousand euros were assigned, to the second, for the conservation and enhancement of the Necropolis in Domus de Janas of Molia , 335 thousand euros, while to the last one , again for the conservation and enhancement of the pre-Nuragic hypogean necropolis of "Sas Arzolas de Goi" , 200 thousand euros have been allocated.
