Last year Turkey was fatal in Brindisi and Varese who did not pass the Champions League preliminaries. In September Dinamo will try to do better. The team headed by Nenad Markovic will play the semi-final on Friday 20 September against the winner of the quarter-final match between the Lithuanians Juventus Utena and the Serbians Spartak.

The blue and white coach presents the challenges: «I know the Serbs well, they have set up an important team for the preliminaries, they are absolutely not to be underestimated, they are competitive just like the Lithuanians. They are tough and grumpy teams, especially in inside-out matches. Then there are other favorites like Bonn and Andorra who have top-level rosters and who can play for every chance of qualifying."

The possible final will be on September 22nd at 8.30 pm Italian time. Whoever wins the group will be in the Champions League group with Aek Athens, Riga and Maccabi Ramat Gan.
