They struggled more than they should have, but ultimately pulled off a convincing performance at the PalaTaliercio in Mestre. Dinamo earned their second road win, having defeated the Venetians in the second half after a tight first half. Five players scored in double figures: Riisma 19 points, Aromando 17, Monaldi 15, Nze 10, and Brooks had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
This time, the approach is discreet, even if the defense isn't exactly solid. The score remains even throughout the quarter: 27-25. In the second quarter, with the top five (Riismaa at guard and Brooks at small forward), Dinamo takes control and completes the run with two free throws by Nze: +9 at the 15th minute. A moment of exhilaration for point guard Calbini, who leads Mestre to a 14-3 run, turning the game around. The return of Mondali (3/4 three-pointers in the first half) and Brooks allows Banco to go into halftime ahead: 48-50.
Upon returning, Brooks's quintet made another splash: Flood, the Irishman, pushed the game to a 12-point lead with a 3-pointer. Mestre didn't give up and tried to fight back, fueled by the usual Calbini and a 3-pointer from Bechi (63-66), which was answered by Riisma, who then extended the lead to 13. The Venetians didn't give up, and Curry closed the gap: 72-76 at the 38th minute. Brooks sealed the win with a 3-pointer.
