Who knows if the Europa Cup will break the deadlock for Dinamo, still without a win this season, after 0-2 in the league against Varese and Cremona. Tomorrow at 8:30 PM, the Sassari-based team opens its fourteenth season in a European cup in Lisbon, Portugal.

Guard Johnson and winger Ceron are doubtful, having been sidelined on Sunday in Cremona. Not exactly an ideal situation for a week that will see the white-blues back on the court on Sunday against Milan.

Sporting Lisbon has won nine league titles, the last in 2021, plus eight domestic cups. The Portuguese team is a mix of veterans like guard Morgan and small forward Bowman. Lisbon is also coming off a resounding 103-66 defeat against Benfica.

Romanian side Valcea and German side Rasta Vechta are also drawn in Group G. The top-placed teams plus the six best second-placed teams from each of the ten groups advance to the group stage of the Europe Cup.
