Dinamo Sassari is banking on Desure Buie as a playmaker.

On a team that will have 10 new players, to speed up the process of blending in, Coach Bulleri and Sporting Director Sartori decided to "pick" the guard duo from the same team. And so, after Nate Johnson, point guard Desure Buie is about to arrive from Lithuanian team Neptunas Klaipeda.
Born in 1997, 180cm tall (Bibbins was 173cm), Buie is a playmaker who played in the European leagues of Slovakia, Turkey, and Germany, then in Lithuania, where he averaged nearly 14 points on 36% three-pointers, 94% free throws, and 6 assists. These numbers are in line with his previous seasons, highlighting his good passing skills and his decent outside shooter and excellent free throw shooter.
With the imminent signing of the starting point guard, only two foreign players are missing to complete the 2025/26 Dinamo squad: the starting small forward and the replacement guard, who will likely be a versatile winger.
