The safety achieved in advance, the certainty of playing the sixteenth consecutive season in the men's A1. It is already important to still be in the top championship, which over the years has lost places like Siena, Rome, Fortitudo Bologna, Caserta, Cantù, Pesaro and Turin, many winners not only of championships but also of European cups.

Dinamo continues to live in that Paradise that was only dreamed of on April 23 when a dozen students from the Azuni classical high school founded the club in San Giuseppe.

In 65 years there have been only six presidents: the first was Giovanni Pilo but it was with the arrival of the late lawyer Dino Milia in 1972 that the Sassari club took off: the historic promotion to A2 in 1989, the return in 2003 after three years in Serie B.

From the Milia family to the Mele family: another historic step, the arrival in Serie A in 2010 after the playoffs. At the helm is Meo Sacchetti, the coach of the two Italian Cups (2014 and 2015), of the Italian Super Cup (2014) but above all of the championship in 2015. With the arrival of Stefano Sardara in 2011, other trophies and historic goals: the first European cup, the Europe Cup in 2019, and a few months later the second Super Cup, both branded by coach Pozzecco.

Of course, this season and the last one have not been brilliant, yet apart from Milan, there is no other club that can boast such prestigious results and consistency of results in the last 15 years. Adding also two other Serie A: wheelchair basketball with Dinamo Lab, and women's basketball with Dinamo Women, who are playing the decisive game for salvation tonight. Even in this case, continuing to be there is still a victory.
