After isolating themselves in fourth place, the team from Sassari challenges the third force in the championship. The game is still being played at the PalaSerradimigni (Sunday at 7.30pm) and if maybe there aren't enough days left to try and recover the -6 from Tortona, surely winning the seventh consecutive victory would have an enormous specific weight for the self-esteem of the group coached by Piero Bucchi.

Dinamo has always defeated Tortona this season: 84-83 in the Super Cup semi-final (with Onuaku's clamorous block on Christon's shot) and 82-79 in the first leg of the championship. The point guard Stefano Gentile warns: “The previous matches were particular, because in the Super Cup they were missing some players, in Tortona it was us with some absences. This time the situation is different and above all they will prepare some tactical variations also because their coach knows how to prepare matches well and also knows how to read them well".

In the first leg, for example, play guard Stefano Gentile was not at his best, while now he is one of the architects of the Sassari exploit: "I went through a difficult period due to tonsillitis, I felt weak and from the analyzes we understood that we had exaggerated with the antibiotics. After two-three weeks I recovered and slowly got back into good condition, even if I'm saving some energy for the end of the season”.

In Tortona the alapivot Daum is absent, while Banco will only know on Sunday morning if at least one of Robinson and Jones can play after the physical problems that kept them out.
