“One morning I woke up and I no longer had the energy that has always animated me since I have been in Sassari. I told President Sardara because I don't want to fool anyone”. This is how the now ex-general manager of Dinamo (he will not renew at the end of June and is headed to Treviso) explained in a press conference the reasons for his farewell.

“In these 14 years I have lived for Dinamo and Sardara and the collaborators have made me feel at home. It is not an easy decision from an emotional point of view but professionally it is right this way”.

Pasquini also acknowledged the mistakes: "but the teams have recovered in the last two years". He acted as a lightning rod for a moment of decline for all of Dinamo, not only on a technical level. An inevitable decline probably after having traveled at the maximum collecting unthinkable results: scudetto, two Italian Cups and Super Cups, a Europe Cup and participation in the Euroleague.

Now the Sassari club is looking for a replacement who has the same competence and willingness to work for Dinamo.
