Dinamo has rediscovered the identity of the team
Four victories in the last five games confirm that the Sassari side, now sixth, have acquired a different temper than in the past
Sassari is not yet complete, but it has reached the most important milestone in one season: having a precise identity that allows it to mask its defects (lightness inside the area) and enhance its virtues (precision in three-point shooting and ability to pass the ball). The clear victory obtained in Trento for 95-77 is the fourth in the last five games: Reggio Emilia, Brindisi and Pesaro the other successes, with the only empty hit by Napoli.
Dinamo is now sixth in the company of Trento (2-0 in direct matches) and Brindisi (+18 in the first leg).
The prospects have changed and not only for the +6 on the penultimate place. Banco now has a well-defined team profile: he defends strongly, plays better in transition, has increased the distribution of offensive responsibilities. The absence of point guard Robinson brought out the Sassari player Massimo Chessa who in the last two games scored 25 points in total with 7/9 from three.
The play-guard Dowe then unleashed two leading performances, demonstrating the value and incisiveness that had been glimpsed in the pre-season.
