Dinamo fights to the end, but gives in the sprint to Brescia: 97-86
Brave and obstinate try for Sassari, but unfortunately it is not enough
Nothing to do: Sassari fails to win against the best and Brescia loses 97-86. The biancoblù team, with Bucchi on the bench after the quarantine, disputes a courageous and obstinate test, characterized by alternating scores up to 37 '. In the end the lightness inside the area pays off with a still insufficient Mekowulu, as does Burnell. So the trio Robinson-Logan-Bendzius is not enough, to which Kruslin gives a big hand and a Diop deserving of the starting quintet.
Sassari starts better than with Robinson's triples and an excellent defense (4 recovered) goes to +7: 6-13 at 4 '. With the changes the Banco loses its edge, Brescia rises which dominates by rebound (12-3 in the first quarter) and with a break of 18-5 overturns the inertia of the game: 24-18.
The Sassari team messes up in attack in the second fraction and ends at -11 at 12 '. The return of the playmaker Robinson restores order and together with Gentile and Logan promotes the comeback: 33-27 at 15 '. Bucchi rebuilds the quintet and Dinamo resumes defending and running: two triples by Kruslin and one by Robinson on the counterattack and is overtaking: +2 at 18 ', 38-40.
