Sensational victory for Banco di Sardegna who defeated vice leaders Virtus Bologna 93-88 at the PalaSerradimigni. A well-deserved success after a game conducted almost always thanks to a good defense in the first half and a dynamic attack, where point guard Jefferson emerged, scoring 29 points with a triple and two decisive free throws in the heated final.

The Diop center celebrated 200 appearances in the blue and white shirt.

Excellent approach from Dinamo who defends aggressively, passes through the blocks and controls the transition. The two triples from Jefferson and one from McKinnie break the balance: 19-13 in the 7th minute.

In the second quarter coach Markovic uses the quintet with three small players for a long time. McKinnie is very mobile and with his cuts he puts the Bolognese defense into crisis (the only one in double figures in the first half) and Tyree shows off his offensive talent and the Sassari team flies to +13 in the 16th minute. Virtus is more physical in defense and attack: Hackett hits on approach, Dunston dunks to further reduce the gap: 44-40 at halftime.

Virtus maintains its momentum upon returning after the break and takes the lead with Belinelli's triples: 55-60 in the 27th minute. It was Jefferson who brought the Dinamo back ahead, helped by Tyree: 76-69 in the 35th minute. Virtus came back behind with Belinelli's bombs: 85-82 at 39' and 87-86 at 47” from the end with three free throws from Belinelli. Jefferson's triple for +5 effectively closed the game.
