After Jack Devecchi, another long-term column for the Sassari team: the play-guard Stefano Gentile has been further extended the contract, passing from 2023 to 2025. It will therefore be seven seasons for Nando Gentile's eldest son, who arrived at Dinamo in the summer of 2018 and today in his fourth championship in the biancoblù jersey.

Stefano Gentile has already accumulated 130 appearances and 840 points to remain only in the Italian championship and cups, but has long since exceeded 1,000 points if we add his performances in the Europe Cup (winning the trophy in 2019) and in the Champions League. In Sassari he also raised his second Italian Super Cup, in 2019, after the one he won in Reggio Emilia in 2015.

The player from Campania also wore the jerseys of Milan, Caserta and Virtus Bologna.

What the figures do not say is the flexibility of Stefano Gentile, who in Sassari was employed in three roles (play, guard and small forward) and never lacked his competitive spirit on both sides of the pitch. In Dinamo's jersey, against Milan, he set his career high with 26 points in the 2019 championship semifinal.

Stefano Gentile said: “I am very happy to continue my adventure at Dinamo and I am grateful for the trust that the club and the staff have given me. In Sardinia I found more than one club: a family of which I feel a part and a people, the Sardinian one, that I am proud to represent. I can't wait to continue wearing these colors to take them to the top and reach new goals together ”.
