Dinamo challenge leaders Virtus in Bologna, fourth place has to be defended
The Stephens center will play on Sunday at 6 pm: «They are very strong, we have to play as a team»
A fourth place to defend in the lair of the leaders. Dinamo plays Sunday at 6pm in Bologna . In the two previous matches, the Sassari team played it to the end, losing the Super Cup final 72-69 and the championship final 74-69.
For Deshawn Stephens it is instead the debut against Virtus: «It's the first time. They are a very strong team and we have to play as a team , helping each other in defense and attack if we want to play it».
Long inconspicuous and not very offensive, but useful to the team with pick and roll aids, long arms to discourage passes and many blocks in attack, Stephens has his best weapon in the team concept. He showed it on Wednesday: «Yes, against Trieste in the first half I couldn't express myself , but in the interval I told myself to stay concentrated and think about what could be useful for my teammates. And it got better."
Finally the question of whether it is better to face Venice or Brindisi in the playoffs: «Nice dilemma. Venice has a very long roster, with quality and experience, while Brindisi has a different game, they like to run and talent is expressed when they manage to have enthusiasm».
