Dinamo at home against Paok, last call for the Champions League

Victory or elimination from the Champions League with two days to spare. Tomorrow evening at the PalaSerradimigni (20.30) Sassari must beat Paok Thessaloniki to leave open the possibility of finishing the group in at least third place , for which two victories will still be needed. Difficult to undo the deficit of the first leg of -20 (88-68 for the Greeks) in a match where the Sassari team played very well in the first half, even accumulating an 11-point lead before collapsing sensationally in the second half. The best scorers were Onuaku with 13 points and Nikolic with 11, among the very few to save themselves from a disastrous evening where Sassari made just 3/20 in the triples.
A robust performance is needed to lift the spirit of a group which, after beating the modest Scafati, was crushed in the last quarter by Pessaro's mental toughness, certainly superior to that of a Dinamo still looking for a solidity that inevitably passes from the axis play pivot Robinson-Stephens.
Winning means still having a goal in the European cup. Losing means that the Champions League is now too much for Sassari.
