Traveling remains a taboo. In Pistoia it ends 68-63 for the hosts and Banco di Sardegna remains with just 4 points in the standings after eight days.

It was a match that Dinamo always lived in pursuit of, coming within overtaking reach several times but without that winning streak, despite the fact that in the last quarter Tyree almost alone (10 points) sought the miracle.

Balanced start with Charalampopoulos who plays both with his back to the basket and from the arc: 11-9 for Pistoia who, however, slowly makes some changes to the score with triples from Hawkins and Wheatle: 22-11 at the 9th, with the Sassari quintet who with three small fatigue. Bucchi's time out stops the bleeding, but the small quintet doesn't work and actually suffers too much from Pistoia's three-pointer: 35-21 in the 13th minute. The Tuscans are 6/10 from the arc. Another time out and another reaction from the blue and whites (with a more orthodox quintet and the return of Gombauld) who produce a 10-0 break thanks above all to Kruslin who scores from three. However, the defense at the arc remains flawed: 42-34 at halftime and half of the Tuscans' points came with triples.

Upon returning to the field, both teams had cold hands, but Gombauld's three dunks gave Dinamo momentum back, as they defended better: 42-40 in the 24th minute. Willis' bomb unlocks Pistoia but the match remains balanced: 52-49 with Cappelletti's prowess scoring in a fall.

Even in the last quarter they scored very little: Sassari went to -1 twice but never managed to overtake and the home team, despite struggling, managed to regain the lead, 62-53 in the 36th minute with Moore's bomb. The blue and white attack relies on the talent of Tyree who practically closes the gap alone: 66-63 with 14 seconds to go, but Hawkins scores the two successful free throws.

Dynamo's best were Tyree with 12 points, Gombauld with 11 points and 8 rebounds and Kruslin with 9 points. The trio of Whittaker, Charalampopoulos and McKinnie combined for just 13 points.
