The decisive "no" to Minister Calderoli's bill on differentiated autonomy comes from Pd, Progressisti, M5s and Avs. The opposition parties in the regional council are calling for the resignation of governor Christian Solinas and a motion of no confidence in Michele Pais, president of the council. The reason? The methods with which the favorable position of Sardinia was expressed in the national context.

Two weeks ago the opposition had asked the president of the Assembly to convene an extraordinary session of the Chamber to discuss differentiated autonomy. Instead "the Calderoli proposal was signed without a minimum of guarantees" , explained the leader of the Pd group, Gianfranco Ganau, during the press conference to illustrate the motions: "If the same revenues that are currently due to us are not guaranteed, this means maintaining the gap with the rest of the Regions. If there is no increase, there is no possibility of adapting to the levels of the rest of Italy".

At the unified conference of the Regions, last week, the health councilor Carlo Doria took the place of Solinas, who signed the bill. " The requests for the resignation of the entire minority are justified by the fact that the Board has not been consulted - specified Alessandro Solinas, M5s group leader - net of our request as oppositions to reunite it and bring out the positions of all the directors, so as to see who is co-responsible for this attack on Sardinian autonomy ».

"Pais no longer guarantees the dignity of the Regional Council, we strongly contest its ways: it had reassured us that it would have been important to have a shared position and not to rush forward - insists Francesco Agus, group leader of the Progressives - There are roles top managers such as those of the Prime Minister or the Region who cannot be crippled".

For Eugenio Lai, leader of the Avs group, "it is a matter of high treason against the Sardinian people because autonomy is jeopardized and revenues are also called into question".
