Di Battista and Casalino are not running for the next elections

Alessandro Di Battista and Rocco Casalino will not run for a seat in Parliament in the next elections on 25 September.
The names of the former leader of the hard and pure area of the 5-star Movement and of the spokesman of the pentastellato president Giuseppe Conte do not appear among those who presented the self-nomination necessary to participate in the parliamentary women of the Movement , which will be held on August 16 .
The deadline for submitting the application was set for today at 2 pm.
Di Battista and Casalino therefore join the long list of the big names who will not have a place between the seats of Montecitorio and Palazzo Madama from next autumn, due to the limit imposed on the double mandate .
