A third Maldini after Cesare and Paolo will wear the national team jersey. This is Daniel, among the 23 called up by Luciano Spalletti for the two home games of the Nations League, Thursday 10 October against Belgium and Monday 14 against Israel.
The Azzurri, fresh from away victories against France and Israel, want to consolidate their first place in the group. In addition to Maldini, there are three other absolute novelties: Juventus goalkeeper Di Gregorio, the young Roma player Pisilli and Milan defender Gabbia.
