From 1 July the summer timetable for public transport managed by the Ctm comes into force.

Below is the most relevant information.

To meet the demand for mobility in the summer months, the service hours of lines 1, 9, 30, 30R and PF continue to be extended at night every day, explains the company.

In detail:

  • Line 1 Last departure from F. Gioia and last departure from Brotzu Hospital 00.30
  • Line 9 Last departure from Piazza Matteotti 00.05
  • Lines 30 and 30R Last departure from Piazza Matteotti 00.30
  • PF Line Last departure from Piazza Matteotti 00.30
  • The Blu Notte line is active on Fridays and Saturdays from Piazza Matteotti to Poetto (Marino Hospital) and back, with a frequency of 30 minutes. First ride from Piazza Matteotti at 11.00pm, last ride from Ospedale Marino at 3.50am.
  • Line 7 runs every day until 12.40 am on the route Piazza Yenne/Castello district/Villanova/Via Roma/Piazza Yenne, with a frequency of 30 minutes. Last departure from piazza Yenne at 00.40.
  • The University Express line is active from Monday to Saturday, with a frequency of 25 minutes until 15.30, suspension from 15.30 to 18 and frequency 25 minutes after 18.
  • Line 29 will travel on the section: S. Benedetto – Policlinico Monserrato and vice versa with a frequency of 25 minutes.
  • Line 9 will connect Decimomannu to Piazza Matteotti with an average frequency of 14-15 minutes on weekdays and 26 minutes on holidays. Like every year, the limited rides in Assemini will be suspended in the summer period.

Connections to the beaches:

  • Poetto Express Line, active every day from Piazza Matteotti to Poetto (Marino Hospital) with a frequency of 22 minutes.
  • Line 5ZeEUS, from San Michele al Poetto Park (Marino Hospital), every day with a frequency of 12/14 minutes.
  • Line 3P, from Piazza Giovanni XXIII to Poetto (Ottagono), operates every day with a frequency of 16 minutes on weekdays and 13 minutes on holidays.
  • Line 11 is active every day from Amsicora to Calamosca with a frequency of 30 minutes.
  • The QS line runs every 16 minutes between 7.00 and 14.00 and 20 minutes from 16.00 to 20.00.

AMICOBUS Summer

From Saturday 1 July and until the first week of September, the Amicobus service is also extended to weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with a service dedicated to Poetto.

The weekend service dedicated to the Poetto is active only on Saturdays from 14:00 to 20:00 and on Sundays from 08:00 to 20:00. The booking methods are always the same, i.e. for Saturdays you book on Fridays from 15:00 to 19:00 and for Sundays you book on Saturdays from 08:00 to 10:00.

On the cars of the service dedicated to the Poetto there will be an on-board assistant.

Amico Bus is a public transport service on call, of the "door to door" type dedicated to:

  • "Persons with disabilities" assessed, pursuant to ex law 104, as a "Serious situation".
  • “Civil invalids” pursuant to law 118 with a disability of 100% or greater than or equal to 74%.
  • "Elderly people over 65 who are not self-sufficient, and others with ascertained psycho-physical limitations in charge of social, municipal or ASL services".

The use of adequately equipped and air-conditioned short vehicles is foreseen.

Only the 1.30 euro CTM ticket will be valid.
