The Regional Councilor for Transport Giorgio Todde met today in Naples with the leaders of Grimaldi, the company that was recently awarded the Cagliari-Arbatax-Civitavecchia section under territorial continuity.
At the company's headquarters, Todde met with Guido Grimaldi, president of “Grimaldi Sardegna”.
We talked about the strategy and development of the system of maritime connections to and from Sardinia, with particular reference to the routes already carried out (in addition to the one mentioned there are Cagliari-Palermo and Cagliari-Naples in agreement, Olbia-Livorno and Olbia-Civitavecchia under a free market regime).
In all connections, the company will provide for the inclusion of new and latest generation ships, it emerged during the interview.
"The Region - is the comment of Councilor Todde - will be alongside the company in this challenge, with the priority of ensuring a new course for the mobility of Sardinians and guaranteeing a strategic connection tool for goods entering and leaving our island" .
