The magic of Costantino Nivola for the first time at the Venice Biennale . This year the prestigious cultural institution - among the best known and oldest in the world - will celebrate the Sardinian artist by exhibiting one of his works.
A significant recognition for the sculptor, for the Orani Museum - which preserves the most important collection of his works in the world - but also for the whole of Sardinia, which has always seen a strong testimony of identity in the visionary.
«We are particularly happy - underlined the regional councilor for Culture, Ilaria Portas - that one of his works is present in Venice, in this very important international showcase. The theme chosen for the 2024 edition is: "Stranieri Ovunque - Foreigners Everywhere" and represents a particularly significant theme, from a cultural, political, ethical and social point of view, in light of the tragic wars that currently involve various nations and they remind us that we are all foreigners everywhere."
The Biennale will open its doors in Venice on Saturday 20 April and will end on 24 November.
