The Italian Futsal Cup ended yesterday evening. At the PalaTriccoli in Jesi, after Jacopo Ugas' victory in the A2 Elite , this time it was Lorenzo Etzi and his Feldi Eboli who lifted the Serie A trophy, beating Riccardo Siddi's Ecocity Genzano 4-2.

A very hard-fought match, played in a completely sold-out arena, which gave a pure spectacle to the over 5,000 spectators present. At the final whistle, Etzi's joy was uncontainable : "It wasn't an easy match, because in Genzano there are so many quality players," he said. "After the victory in the semifinal against Napoli, I was very confident and I had the feeling that I could take home the cup. We ended the first half with a 3-0; in the second they reopened it by putting the flying goalkeeper, but we never left the game. This is my first trophy, won at 22 years old and I can only be proud of it. I want to dedicate it to my father, because he has always made so many sacrifices for me, ever since I was a child . He has always followed me and supported me, this award is also his. Now I want to work again and again, because I would like to win as much as possible."

A thought also went to the friends who took part in this competition, Michele Podda with Meta Catania, who went out in the semifinals and Riccardo Siddi with Genzano : "I would also like to congratulate my friends Michele and Riccardo, who unfortunately could not lift the cup. This time we were opponents on the field and in sport there is always someone who wins and someone who loses. They were very good anyway and I wish them the best for the end of the season", concluded Etzi.
