Michael Bambang Hartono , owner of Como 1907 and one of the 150 richest men in the world, according to Forbes, with a net worth of approximately $18 billion , has died at the age of 86. The Indonesian entrepreneur was the club's majority shareholder alongside his brother Robert Budi Hartono , with whom he had launched the team's growth project in 2019, leading it to its current fourth-place finish in the league.

Together with his brother, Michael also led a vast economic empire built around the Djarum Group and the stake in Bank Central Asia , thus constituting one of the richest families in the world, with a total wealth of 39 billion dollars .
