«The Sardinian Action Party does not disappear at all, if anything it is reborn today regenerated after a National Congress which re-established the centrality of the statutory bodies with respect to the baronial claims of some elected on their lists». This is what we read in a Psd'Az statement signed by the national secretary Christian Solinas , who takes a position after the farewell of Gianni Chessa and Piero Maieli , which leaves the Sardinians with only one regional councilor, who will thus enter the mixed group.
But the party, continues the former governor, «is reborn cleansed of some waste that has tried to poison its militancy and undermine internal relations with a constant action of sabotage . It is reborn, again, demonstrating the strength of its ideas and its resilience, presenting itself with its own lists in the main cities of Sardinia."
«In over a century – concludes Solinas' note – our party has experienced dozens of splits on the most varied issues and has survived the departure of personalities of the caliber of Emilio Lussu who wanted a merger with the Socialist Party, imagine if today may worry those who - elected thanks to our lists without ever having become Sardinians - go away on their own whim and moreover towards an allegorical Noah's ark of the Third Millennium. Good wind!".
