Sixty-five restaurants scattered around the world, origins from Campania, a life built in the United Kingdom and a great passion for Sardinia where he spends six months a year and where he would like to open a new restaurant in the city of Olbia.

Gino D'Acampo , born Gennaro D'Acampo, chef and well-known television personality known for his programs and books that talk about food and cooking, was the main guest of the North Sardinia Talent Day organized by Fibe Confcommercio in Olbia.

"I've been meaning to open a restaurant in Sardinia for at least four or five years - confirms D'Acampo - but I'm looking for a large, central structure close to the town of Olbia, on the main road which is a fantastic place for me ".

«The advice I would like to give to young people who want to work in the restaurant industry is to have discipline, something that many don't have or haven't understood - explains the chef - Everything works in the restaurant industry with discipline that goes from cleaning, to how cook and get dressed or talk to the customer. If you have good discipline it's hard to go wrong with the restaurant. But today's young people - he specifies - think that being a waiter is not a serious job, they think of doing it for a couple of years and then do something else, but they must begin to understand that the restaurant business is a serious job that can give a lot of satisfaction despite the sacrifices».
