Charlbi Dean, actress Palme d'Or in Cannes, died aged 32

The world of cinema mourns the South African actress and model Charlbi Dean, who died in New York at the age of only 32 .

From what we learn, a serious illness, which she had recently been diagnosed with, was fatal.

Charlbi Dean was best known for her starring role in "Triangle of Sadness", directed by Ruben Ostlund , which won the Palme d'Or at the last Cannes Film Festival .

Her debut as an actress came after her modeling career, which she started at the age of six.

Not just cinema and not just catwalks: Dean had played roles in some TV series, such as "Elementary" and "Black Lightning".
