The story of the separation between the Colombian singer Shakira and Gerard Pique comes to a new chapter. The Latin pop star points the finger at her ex-husband in the lyrics of her new song " Music Session #53 ": "You swapped a Ferrari for a Twingo , a Rolex for a Casio", referring to his betrayal with the model class of '99 Clara Chia Marti.
Piqué's reply was not long in coming: during a live broadcast on Twitch to launch " Kings League ", his new sports project, he showed the Casio watch he was wearing and announced: « Casio won't be Rolex, but we have reached a sponsorship agreement » and to the laughter of the other guests he then added: «This Casio is for life », in turn throwing a dig at the ex.
Not happy, he hit Shakira a second time with the weapon of irony reaching the training ground aboard a Renault Twingo. The video was also shared by the Instagram profile of the Kings League, the Spanish 7-a-side football league created by the former Barcelona player.
The song, also thanks to the controversy it raised, collected 14.4 million streams on Spotify in one day and was renamed "revenge song" .
