Alessandro Cattelan will host the five appointments of Sanremo Giovani in November and December on Rai2 and the four of Dopofestival in February on Rai1.
It is one of the first news about the next Sanremo Festival, announced live on Tg1 by the artistic director Carlo Conti.
For new proposals there will be a real talent show that will serve to know and select the emerging artists who dream of performing on the stage of the Ariston Theater and will be staged in the late evening on Rai2 from November 12 to December 10 until the final of "Sanremo Giovani - Sarà Sanremo" on December 18, on Rai1. The young artists will be evaluated by the Musical Commission during the episodes with challenges, successes and eliminations.
"It's too early to talk about Christmas but it's good to talk about the festival, even if it's far away, because Sanremo is always alive", says Conti who also announces the extension of the registration for young people "to next Thursday the 10th at 7 pm".
" I had taken a break from talent shows and wanted to get back to handling music a bit , so this seems like a great way to return to an environment that I know and love and do it with young guys who will then have the opportunity to step onto the stage of Saremo," says Cattelan.
In February he will then host the "Dopofestival", which returns to the screens of the flagship network from 11 to 14 February, at the end of each evening of the festival: «I have reintroduced the Dopofestival and Alessandro will host it, so hot comments and reliving the episodes of the festival». «Carlo - explains Cattelan - proposed me a project, an interesting, broad project and therefore I am very happy and this is the other side of my career: on the one hand the talent show and on the other the second fun evening to accompany the listeners to sleep who, after enjoying Sanremo, will enjoy a bit of a final debate on what happened».
"Now all that's left to do is get started," he wrote on social media. "Rest during these months because in February we all go to bed late."
