Carla Oppo, the historian from Oristano becomes "Telemachus"

There will also be a Sardinian historian, Carla Oppo , at the helm of “Telemaco”, the new Rai Storia magazine focused on the story of particular and lesser-known historical events told by the places where they took place.

The 34-year-old from Oristano , one of the founders of the nascent family cinema archive "Riavvolte", collaborator of "Past and Present" , Rai Cultura, with Paolo Mieli, will be with Matteo Marroni, Emanuela Lucchetti and David Ognibene for 5 years.

Degree in contemporary history, master in historical communication expert at the University of Roma Tre, Carla Oppo dedicates herself to the "creative reuse of archives" : "I am seduced by the time that separates us from the images of the past, that time that affects images and he works - he says - Thanks to history, I venture into the complexity of human affairs and investigate that indissoluble bond between personal and collective, intimate and political. "TELEMACO" - The program, divided into 4 episodes of 52 minutes , takes viewers to discover witnesses and places with the accompaniment of the 4 "Telemachus", traveling around Italy to get to know, firsthand, and tell the various places and the many stories, through the meetings with the witnesses, that those stories have lived, or with the "keepers of memory", who pass on knowledge of those stories.

It will air for 4 Wednesdays starting May 4 .
