Caprile will miss Moldova's match against Italy: the Cagliari goalkeeper will be in the stands.

Elia Caprile won't be making his debut for the national team today . The Cagliari goalkeeper is not included in Gennaro Gattuso's 23-man squad for tonight's Moldova-Italy match, scheduled for 8:45 PM in Chisinau. The coach has included Marco Carnesecchi, Gianluigi Donnarumma, and Guglielmo Vicario as goalkeepers, with the latter—as announced at yesterday's press conference—setting up as the starting player.
Caprile remains in the 26-man Azzurri squad and will be in the stands tonight: if there was any chance of an immediate debut (during the match, given the announcement about Vicario), that's now gone. And it's unlikely that will happen on Sunday in Italy vs. Norway, where Donnarumma will presumably return to the starting lineup. For the Cagliari goalkeeper, however, it remains a high-level experience, following his excellent start to the season with the Rossoblu , with the possibility of continuing to train with the national team for the rest of the week.
Here are Gattuso's squad for Moldova vs. Italy . Along with Caprile, Riccardo Calafiori, who has had minor injuries, and Cagliari's Nicolò Barella, who is suspended (he will return against Norway), are out of the starting 26.
