Cagliari's youth sector was presented, with sporting director Carta saying, "We're working on developing our young players."
Around 150 young people and fifty technicians and managers gathered for the event to kick off the activitiesThis afternoon, at the Doppio Malto club on Viale Marconi in Cagliari , the presentation of the rossoblù youth sector for the 2025-2026 season took place.
Around 150 boys from the Under 14 to Under 18 teams (only Francesco Pisano's Primavera team was missing), along with around fifty coaches and managers, gathered for the kick-off event.
Speaking to the boys were general manager Stefano Melis, sporting director of the youth sector Pierluigi Carta (who has just renewed his contract until June 30, 2029), the new head of the youth sector Oscar Erriu and board member Nicola Riva, who focused on the messages and values to be conveyed to those who are part of the Cagliari youth system.
