De Vizia is back again. Not on a permanent basis yet, but barring any (unlikely) surprises, the company (together with Econord) will continue to manage waste collection and soil sanitation in the city.

The company has been provisionally awarded the new mega contract worth over €500 million for the next seven years (plus a further two and seven-month extension).

The service will still be door-to-door. But one of the new features of the new contract (in addition to changing the color of the bins for collecting paper and plastic) will be street sweeping: 438 kilometers per month, plus 138 kilometers of squares.
