Cagliari's first training session ahead of Juventus: Mazzitelli out

Having put the dramatic 3-3 draw against Genoa on Saturday afternoon behind them, with deep disappointment for the ending, Cagliari resumed training today. Their next match is again early on Saturday, this time at 6:00 PM, against Luciano Spalletti's Juventus in Turin. After having Sunday off, Fabio Pisacane met with the team this afternoon at the Crai Sport Center in Assemini.
Luca Mazzitelli underwent personalized training and therapy . The midfielder missed the Genoa match with a strained left calf and will be monitored in the coming days. The rest of the group underwent activation exercises in the gym and on the pitch, followed by ball possession work and a match on a reduced-size pitch.
On Tuesday the 25th, another training session is scheduled, this time in the morning, to continue the build-up to Juventus-Cagliari.
