Game without history at Curi, with Cagliari overwhelming Perugia 5-0 with goals from Lapadula (brace), Azzi, Mancosu and Kourfalidis. A pokerissimo that gives, for one evening, fourth place to the rossoblùs, together with Südtirol.

Ranieri surprises everyone. Deiola is still in defense, flanked by Goldaniga and Obert. Forward, Mancosu returns from 1' alongside Prelec behind Lapadula, for an unprecedented 3-4-2-1. Mancosu warms up the engines and, after 2', hits the outside of the net.

But in the 4th minute Cagliari's number 5 puts her in the middle, smooth from Rosi and it's easy for Lapadula to make it 1-0. Perugia's reaction was above all nervous and didn't go beyond a scrum (15') resolved by Azzi. In the 19th minute there is a hint of a fight and a yellow card for Altare (he will be disqualified) and Olivieri.

Ranieri was forced to replace Nandez (hit on the knee) with Kourfalidis, but the match was without history. In the 29th minute Prelec's left foot and full post, a minute later Azzi's cross-shot is scored without Zappa touching and it's 2-0. At the "Curi" the dispute arises, Perugia is forced to replace goalkeeper Furlan with Gori and in the 45th minute Mancosu takes the whole scene, who sees the Umbrian goalkeeper off the posts and hits him with a lob from the midfield line. Applause, 3-0 and teams in the locker room.

In the second half, after 4' comes the poker too: Lapadula-Mancosu duet, the latter's cross is picked up by Prelec who backs up for Kourfalidis. The blow from the Greek under the crossbar writes the 4-0.

The rest of the second half goes by without too many worries. There was time for Viola to return to the field, replacing Mancosu, and for a feat by Radunovic on Olivieri's attempt. Ranieri also inserts Barreca and Luvumbo for Azzi and Prelec. Then, in the 42nd minute, Lapadula's brace also arrived on the counterattack, taking back the top scorer's standings with 19 goals. It ends 5-0 and Cagliari, for one night, takes fourth place.
