Good news for Cagliari from the first training session of the week, following the weekend off given to the team by Fabio Pisacane due to the international break. Of the six injured players, half returned immediately to the squad: Joseph Liteta, Nicola Pintus, and Marko Rog , who have overcome their injuries and are considered recovered. Giuseppe Ciocci and Alessandro Deiola, meanwhile, continued their individual training sessions, with the goal of having them back with the squad in the coming days to qualify for Cagliari-Genoa on Saturday at 3:00 PM. Therefore, only Andrea Belotti remains unavailable.

This afternoon's training session also included two of the seven international players, Elia Caprile and Marco Palestra , the first to return to Sardinia. The goalkeeper is fresh from last week's match with Italy, which ended with two stands in his first call-up , while the defender left the Under-21 squad early due to suspension for tomorrow's match against Montenegro (where Riyad Idrissi, the other Cagliari player, remains available). Caprile and Palestra trained with the team.

Cagliari's recovery session initially focused on technique, followed by a series of ball possession drills and a match played on a reduced-size pitch. Tomorrow, the Rossoblù will return to the Crai Sport Center in Assemini in the morning (no further international returns are yet planned).
