The new Cagliari shirt for the home games of the 2023-2024 season has been unveiled.

Created by the technical sponsor Eye Sport , it is called "Mother Earth" and was designed, a note explains, to "exalt the millenary culture of Sardinia".

The quarter-length shirt is traditionally red and blue with reversed back and sleeves, enriched by the modern stylized design on the front: a concentric pattern directly inspired by the Mother Goddess of Turriga, a cruciform statuette dating back to the 4th millennium BC , considered one of the most beautiful effigies depicting the female sacredness from all over the Mediterranean, now exhibited at the Archaeological Museum of Cagliari.

"A strong reference to one's origins that characterizes the close link between Cagliari, its city and the entire island".

The shirt is paired with blue shorts with a red side finish that also continues in the blue socks.

Another feature is the attention to the environment. «The yarn – explains the rossoblù club – is made up of 85% Polyester and 15% Elastane, both from raw materials of recycled and eco-sustainable origin . The fabric has been added with the Wicking treatment to ensure breathability and speed up drying. Sweat is immediately expelled, promoting evaporation and ensuring rapid drying of the skin.

The sleeves, shoulders and side panels are in Mesh, also of recycled origin and with Wicking treatment to promote greater breathability. Also this year the jerseys were packaged using eco-sustainable and plastic-free packaging ».
